The right to access information held by the Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek of the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University in Osijek is guaranteed by the Act on the Right to Access Information (“Official Gazette” no. 25/13, 85/15 and 69/22) to all domestic and foreign physical and legal operators, in the same way and under the same conditions.

Submitting a request for access to information

The right to access information is exercised by submitting a request to the information officer. If the request is submitted in writing, it is necessary to fill out the Request for Access to Information Form or, in the case of not using the form, emphasize that the information is requested in accordance with the Act on the Right to Access to Information.

A request to exercise the right to access information held by the Faculty of Economics and Business of the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University in Osijek can be submitted:

In order to be valid, the Request for access to information must contain:

• the name and headquarters of the public authority to which the request is submitted,
• data that are important for identifying the requested information,
• first and last name and full residential address of the natural person submitting the request,
• the company, i.e. the name of the legal operator and its registered office.

Incomplete requests cannot be referred to the procedure.

The Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek of the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University in Osijek has the right to compensation for actual material costs incurred by providing information to the user of the right to access and reuse information, as well as compensation for the costs of delivering the requested information, which is charged in accordance with the Criteria for determining the amount of compensation for actual material costs and costs of information delivery (“Official Gazette” no. 12/14. and 15/14.).

General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR (General Data Protection RegulationGDPR is regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, which entered into force on 25 May 2018.

The aforementioned Regulation applies in all member states of the European Union. J.J. Strossmayer University in Osijek, Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek aligns its activities and operations with the provisions of the aforementioned Regulation.

In order to exercise the rights of respondents whose data is collected and processed, through the website it is possible to exercise the rights of respondents by downloading forms, filling them in and delivering them to the Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek via the e-mail address of the data protection officer or by submitting a request in the Faculty’s Registry.
