EFOS alumni

Alumni EFOS was founded in May 2015 with the aim of connecting the graduated students of the Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek. In its activities, the Association is primarily focused on building and maintaining ties between the Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek and its alumni, i.e. all students and participants who have completed one of the programmes of the Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek.
The goals of the Association are to establish and maintain connections between EFOS and all individuals who have completed some of the educational programs at the Faculty through the development of cooperation between EFOS and economic operators or associations in which members of the associations operate. Through its activities, the Association encourages networking, international exchange and project activities.
The Alumni Association of the Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek has been one of the fundamental pillars of the academic and business community in Osijek and the wider region for many years. The main goal of this association is to preserve the tradition of excellence, bringing together the most successful Alumni of EFOS in order to provide the best possible opportunities for professional development and better education of younger generations.

Why become a member

All those who have graduated, earned a master's degree, obtained a doctorate, or completed any of the lifelong learning programs at the Faculty of Economics in Osijek may become regular members of the Association. Membership in the Association is obtained by completing an application form, thereby accepting the goals, rights, and obligations established by this Statute and the decisions of the Association, and by paying membership fees. The Alumni EFOS Association was founded in May 2015 with the aim of connecting students who have completed any of the educational programs at the Faculty of Economics in Osijek. The Association was founded by more than 30 former students.
Membership rights and benefits:
•10% % discount on EFOS lifelong learning programs,
•advantages when applying for events with a limited number of spots,
•Invitations to alumni meetings, lectures, and social gatherings,
• timely information on training, guest appearances, and other opportunities,
•opportunities to participate in alumni projects, initiatives, and collaboration with students,
• additional benefits such as tickets to theater performances or events not organized by Alumni, of which you will be informed by email,
• organized trips and social gatherings for members of the Alumni community,
•access to educational workshops and webinars for alumni,
•Connecting and networking with alumni and professionals from various fields.
The annual membership fee enables the maintenance and development of the Alumni community's activities, the organization of events, and the creation of additional opportunities for networking and professional development for members. For students who join the Association immediately after graduation, the first year of membership is free.

Board of Directors

CURRENT BOARD OF DIRECTORS - 2025 - 2027.
The current Management Board for the 2025-2027 term consists of Krešimir Bubalo (CEO of PEVEX), Ivana Bestvina Bukvić (EFOS), Zorin Radovančević (ESCAPE), Marin Babić (HEP Elektra d.o.o.), Kristina Baro (The CODE agency), Tajana Rogulja (Osijek Tourist Board), and Juraj Rašić (EFOS). Krešimir Bubalo was elected President of the Management Board, Ivana Bestvina Bukvić (EFOS) is the new Vice President, and Juraj Rašić (EFOS) was elected as the new Secretary.

2023. - 2025.
After a two-year term, the ceremonial election assembly of the Alumni EFOS association was held on June 5, 2024. For the Management Board for the 2023-2025 term, the following members were elected: Dajana Mrčela (Aeronautical Technical Centre), Marina Stanić (Faculty of Economics in Osijek), Dino Bičvić (Croatian Sugar Industry), Krešimir Bajamić (CRAS), Ivan Jurlina (COBE), Diana Kostelnik (Hidrocibalae), and Sofija Turjak (Faculty of Economics in Osijek). Dajana Mrčela was elected as the President of the Association's Management Board.

2021. - 2023.
After a 2-year term, the festive election Assembly of the Alumni EFOS association was held on December 2, 2021. At the festive Assembly of the Association, members elected a new Management Board and the President of the Association for the 2021-2023 term. The Management Board for two years consists of Igor Medić (City of Osijek), Ivan Kelić (Faculty of Economics in Osijek), Kristijan Šimičić (EDUKOS Osijek), Nenad Cvijetić (CONFORMO), Biserka Orešković (HUND), Boris Runje (ZABA), and Ana Živković (Faculty of Economics in Osijek). Igor Medić was elected President of the Association's Management Board.

2019. - 2021.
After a 2-year term, a new ceremonial general assembly of the Alumni EFOS Association was held on December 6, 2019. At the ceremonial assembly, members elected a new Board of Directors and the Association's president. For the two-year term on the Board of Directors, the following were elected: Sabina Škrtić (ENNA), Marijan Palić (Agency04), Željko Erkapić (Agricultural Machinery Cluster), Mirna Leko Šimić (Faculty of Economics in Osijek), Dubravka Sinčić Ćorić (Faculty of Economics Zagreb), Aron Stanić (Inchoo), Aleksandar Erceg (Faculty of Economics in Osijek), and Ana Živković (Faculty of Economics in Osijek). Sabina Škrtić was elected President of the Association's Board of Directors.

2017. - 2019.
After a term lasting 2 years, a new ceremonial election assembly of the Alumni EFOS association was held on December 13, 2017. At the ceremonial Assembly of the Association, members elected a new Management Board and the President of the Association. For the next two years, the following were elected to the Management Board: Robert Vučković (Croatia Insurance), Marijan Beljan (Glas Slavonije), Nataša Drvenkar (Faculty of Economics in Osijek), Jasenka Crnković (Erste Bank), Vedrana Tomljanović (Carta d.o.o.), Julia Perić (Faculty of Economics in Osijek), Darko Bojanić (2B d.o.o.), and Dario Šebalj (Faculty of Economics in Osijek).

2015. - 2017.
The first elective Assembly of the association was held in December 2015, when the Board of Directors and the President were elected. The members of the Board of Directors were elected according to the principle of representation from each of the four important social segments (Quadruple Helix): business sector/economy, academia, civil society and local government/self-government. The following were elected as members of the Board of Directors: Davor Dujak (Faculty of Economics in Osijek), Vladimir Ham (Deputy Mayor of the City of Osijek), Darija Krstić (Center for Entrepreneurship Osijek), Sunčica Oberman Peterka (Faculty of Economics in Osijek), Ante Radoš (board member of Spačva dd), Tadija Vrdoljak (Konzum dd), Dražena Vrselja (HNK Osijek) and Darko Matotek (Faculty of Economics in Osijek). Dr.sc. Tadija Vrdoljak was elected as the President of the Board of Directors of the Association.

Events

The Association organizes various activities such as the Leadership forum, Business Forum and AlumniTalks, the aim of which is to share the experience of leaders in their examples of achieving excellence in building teams, running companies and associations, initiating changes in the environments in which they live and work, and the participation of members of the Alumni Association as guest lecturers in teaching content at the Faculty. The Association organised several events, among which were Leadership forums with guests such as Korade Korlević, Mate Rimac, Emil Tedeschi, Ćiro Blažević and many other guest lecturers who are experts in their field of activity.
