EFOS alumni
Alumni EFOS was founded in May 2015 with the aim of connecting the graduated students of the Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek. In its activities, the Association is primarily focused on building and maintaining ties between the Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek and its alumni, i.e. all students and participants who have completed one of the programs of the Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek.
The goals of the Association are to establish and maintain connections between EFOS and all individuals who have completed some of the educational programs at the Faculty through the development of cooperation between EFOS and economic operators or associations in which members of the associations operate. Through its activities, the Association encourages networking, international exchange and project activities.

Our team
The Alumni Association of the Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek has been one of the fundamental pillars of the academic and business community in Osijek and the wider region for many years. The main goal of this association is to preserve the tradition of excellence, bringing together the most successful Alumni of EFOS in order to provide the best possible opportunities for professional development and better education of younger generations.
At this year’s Alumni Assembly, a new Board of Directors of the association was elected, which traditionally consists of successful and experienced members of the business and academic community. Igor Medić, head of the Administrative Department for the Economy of the City of Osijek, is the new president of the Association of Alumni of the Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek. In addition to the president in the term 2021–2023, the board of directors consists of Ivan Kelić (EFOS), Kristijan Šimičić (EDUKOS Osijek), Nenad Cvijetić (CONFORMO), Biserka Orešković (HUND), Boris Runje (ZABA) and Ana Živković (EFOS).

All those who graduated, obtained a master’s or doctoral degree or completed one of the lifelong education programs at the Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek can become regular members of the Association. One becomes a regular member of the Association by signing the application form, thereby accepting the goals, rights and obligations established by this Statute and the decisions of the Association.

EFOS Alumni Association was founded in May 2015 with the aim of connecting students who have completed some of the educational programs at the Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek. The Association was founded by more than 30 former students.

The first election Assembly of the Association was held in December 2015, when the Board of Directors and the president were elected. The members of the Board of Directors were elected according to the principle of representation from each of the four important social segments (Quadruple Helix): business sector/economy, academic community, civil society and local government/self-government.
The following were elected as members of the Board of Directors: Davor Dujak (Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek), Vladimir Ham (Deputy Mayor of the city of Osijek), Darija Krstić (Center for Entrepreneurship Osijek), Sunčica Oberman Peterka (Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek), Ante Radoš (member of the board of Spačva d.d.), Tadija Vrdoljak (Konzum d.d.), Dražena Vrselja (Croatian National Theater in Osijek) and Darko Matotek (Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek). Tadija Vrdoljak, PhD, was elected president of the Association’s Board of Directors.

After a mandate of 2 years, on 13 December 2017, a new election Assembly of the EFOS Alumni Association was held. At the solemn Assembly of the Association, the members elected a new Board of Directors and the President of the Association. Robert Vučković (Croatia osiguranje), Marijan Beljan (Glas Slavonije), Nataša Drvenkar (Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek), Jasenka Crnković (Erste banka), Vedrana Tomljanović (Carta d.o.o.), Julia Perić (Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek), Darko Bojanić (2B d.o.o.) and Dario Šebalj (Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek).

After a mandate lasting 2 years, on 6 December 2019, a new solemn election Assembly of the EFOS Alumni Association was held. At the solemn Assembly of the Association, the members elected a new Board of Directors and the President of the Association. Sabina Škrtić (ENNA), Marijan Palić (Agency04), Željko Erkapić (Agricultural Mechanization Cluster), Mirna Leko Šimić (Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek), Dubravka Sinčić Ćorić (Faculty of Economics and Business Zagreb), Aron Stanić (Inchoo), Aleksandar Erceg (Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek) and Ana Živković (Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek) were elected to the Board of Directors for the next two years. Sabina Škrtić was elected president of the Association’s Board of Directors.

The current Board of Directors was elected on 2 December 2021, when the solemn election Assembly of the EFOS Alumni Association was held. So now the Board of Directors for the term 2021–2023 consists of Igor Medić (City of Osijek), Ivan Kelić (Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek), Kristijan Šimičić (EDUKOS Osijek), Nenad Cvijetić (CONFORMO), Biserka Orešković (HUND), Boris Runje (ZABA) and Ana Živković (Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek). Igor Medić was elected president of the Association’s Board of Directors.

Events The Association organizes various activities such as the Leadership forum and AlumniTalks, the aim of which is to share the experience of leaders in their examples of achieving excellence in building teams, running companies and associations, initiating changes in the environments in which they live and work, and the participation of members of the Alumni Association as guest lecturers in teaching content at the Faculty. The Association organized several events, among which were Leadership forums with guests such as Korade Korlević, Mate Rimac, Emil Tedeschi, Ćiro Blažević and many other guest lecturers who are experts in their field of activity.
