The Science Festival is an event that has been continuously organized in Croatia since 2003 with the aim of bringing science closer to the public through giving information about activities and results in the field of science, improving the public perception of scientists, and motivating young people to research and acquire new knowledge. We are born curious, as small children we wonder why the sky is blue and the grass is green, and when we grow up we become productive members of communities. The yearning for additional knowledge and the stimulation of innate curiosity at all ages is a worthy goal for which the Science Festival stands. The organizers of the Science Festival are the Universities of Split, Zagreb, Rijeka, Zadar and Osijek in cooperation with the Nikola Tesla Technical Museum and the British Council, under the high patronage of the Ministry of Science and Education. Creative Treasury is a popularization symposium of scientists and practitioners gathered around the millennial role of the creative industry. Publicly open to exhibitors and visitors, it is in the service of socially responsible association of cultural and economic effects. The goal of the Millennium Competition is to encourage participation in extracurricular activities useful for developing skills, critical thinking, creativity and improving acquired knowledge. It is expected that the competition will strengthen the cooperative and socially responsible behavior of all educational groups. The competing teams are given freedom in proposing conceptual solutions. The organizers are looking for unexpected solutions to create creative products inspired by cultural heritage, and realized in one or more sectors of the creative industry.

Student associations of the Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek organize science popularization projects from various areas of economic science such as entrepreneurship, marketing, finance, etc. Through the projects, they organize lectures, round tables, presentations, workshops, panels, games, quizzes, debates and competitions depending on the topic of the project. Projects are mostly implemented on an annual basis, and some of them have a long tradition of existence and exceptional public interest.
