The Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek has a rich history – it was founded in 1961 and since then it has been a key institution for the development of knowledge in the field of economics and business economics in the region. We focus on solving issues of regional development, encouraging entrepreneurship and company development. In line with modern trends, we have launched a university undergraduate study in Economics and Business Economics to provide students with the competencies to succeed in a dynamic world.

One of the advantages of studying at EFOS is the large number of associations that provide the opportunity to work on practical projects and additional extracurricular activities. We are located in a modern building with state-of-the-art equipment, we provide you with optimal conditions for acquiring knowledge and developing your own interests. If you want to continue your education, we offer you the opportunity of graduate studies, where you can choose a major according to your preferences, whether you are more interested in financial management, marketing, entrepreneurship or something else.

The study lasts three years and it consists of 180 ECTS credits. It offers the advantage of taking courses in English, enrolling in university elective courses, a large number of elective courses in the last semester, doing professional practice with workload, recognition of part or all ECTS credits based on student exchange (within the university, nationally or internationally through ERASMUS mobility which we encourage). A university bachelor’s degree in economics (BScEcon) is the academic title that you can obtain through six semesters of study. During this time, you will gain the relevant knowledge needed to navigate the global environment, you will develop your skills and have the opportunity for mobility within Croatia, the European Union and around the world.

At EFOS, we do not just learn from textbooks, we encourage you to participate in extracurricular activities through student associations, Science Festival, European EFOS Week, Global Entrepreneurship Week, Creative Treasury, Legal and Economic Clinic and much more. We also provide continuous academic and professional support through professional services, a mentoring system and student representatives.
