At the beginning of the academic year, a welcome party for freshmen is organized, where students of all years gather. It is the first opportunity to meet new colleagues at the university. As EFOS parties are known for good fun at the University, we organize parties throughout the year, so there is no shortage of fun.

One of the key projects of the Student Council from the constituent session in 2021 is the project to reduce menstrual poverty at the Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek. After conducting research at the European and national level, the results showed that menstrual poverty really exists, which was also confirmed by research on a sample of 222 female students of the Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek. For this reason, the Student Council, with the financial and logistical help of the Faculty Administration, provided money (HRK 10,000.00) for 2 types of sanitary pads and dispensers in all women’s toilets, thus taking the first step towards reducing menstrual poverty in society. The partner in this project was the socially responsible company Violeta, which provided a discount for the purchase of sanitary napkins. With this initiative, the Faculty of Economics and Business became the first institution in Osijek-Baranja County to systematically provide sanitary pads for all users. The Student Council takes students on several trips every year. Throughout the academic year, conferences are held in Zagreb, Opatija, Split, Novi Sad and Ljubljana. At conferences, along with learning new things, we gain friendships and new experiences. Towards the end of the academic year, we visit the biggest regional event of economics faculty students, Ekonomijada&Manageriada, which changes its venue every year.

The Sports Club of EFOS welcomes you to its web corner of the college website. Bearing in mind that these are future versatile economists, the importance and skill of expressing sportsmanship on the field has not been overlooked. Our task is for all our student-athletes to come together and test their strength by participating in various sports. We organize gym dates, equipment and preparatory trainings before the competitions themselves so that they can get warmed up as well as possible. We use fair play and a positive atmosphere as advantages with which we strive to create a sense of belonging in order to get the best possible results. In order to maintain the authenticity and quality of communication channels, the members of the club are active and former athletes who have years of experience behind them related to sports fields. Also, we believe that competitiveness, discipline and friendships develop on the field that can last a lifetime. And most importantly, the aim of the students is to have fun and do their best on the field.

AIESEC is the largest international student organization. It operates in 124 countries, and has existed in Croatia since 1953 – currently in Zagreb, Split, Zadar and Osijek. The goal of the organization is peace in the world and the fulfillment of human potential, which we try to achieve through professional and volunteer practices, as well as various educations and projects. AIESEC also organizes various conferences that serve to develop strategic and functional skills and create a global network of contacts. Our most famous projects are Career Day, Business future in Croatia and Youth Speak Forum.

The student association EWoB – Entrepreneurs Without Borders has been operating at the Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek since 2008. It was founded in cooperation with the American University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. The goal of the association is to promote entrepreneurial behavior and develop the knowledge and skills of association members through work on real projects and problems of Croatian and foreign companies. Every year, EWoB participates in the celebration of Global Entrepreneurship Week by organizing a large three-day project that brings together various entrepreneurs who inspire students and all visitors with their knowledge and stories. In addition to Global Entrepreneurship Week, EWoB also organizes other projects, such as Women in Entrepreneurship. Although the EWoB association offers a lot of knowledge and entrepreneurial skills, first and foremost it brings students an unforgettable experience, lifelong friends and special memories from their student days.

Financial literacy is a concept that every person encounters in life, without actually being aware of it until they find themselves in some form of financial difficulties or doubts related to opening a bank account, taking out a loan, personal finances, business planning and the like. Our association is concerned with raising the level of financial literacy, primarily among younger people, regardless of whether they attend primary school, secondary school or university. We achieve all this by implementing several projects – “Financial Literacy”, “European Money Week”, “Student journal – FIMPRESS” and numerous other educations, conferences, quizzes and study trips, and we have been doing all this with the help of our hardworking members since 2014.

EU information, possibilities and sustainability is an association of students who want to get to know the European Union and its possibilities. The goal of the association is to familiarize students with their rights, the advantages of Erasmus mobility, employment opportunities inside and outside the Republic of Croatia and numerous other topics.

Every year, we mark the European EFOS week, with which we celebrate Europe Day, and we offer our students the opportunity to participate and communicate with panelists, including representatives of the European Parliament.

EdIT is a student association whose goal is to increase the attractiveness of the IT sector, increase the competitiveness of business informatics students and encourage members to develop in the IT sector.
