The Erasmus mobility program encourages exchange, cooperation and mobility in the territory of the European Union.

Health insurance
Answer: All exchange students during their stay in the Republic of Croatia must have health insurance. There are several options for regulating health insurance:
- European Health Insurance Card (EHIC): students can use health services in Croatia if they have a valid EHIC.
- If you come from a country that has concluded an international agreement on health protection with the Republic of Croatia, you have the right to use health services during your temporary stay in Croatia. Before arriving in Croatia, it is necessary to check with the health insurance provider in your home country the conditions under which you can use your health insurance in Croatia. If possible, your health insurance provider will issue you with a corresponding document that you should take with you to Osijek. With it, you can get a certificate of the right to use health care at the Croatian Pension Insurance Fund and replace it with a health insurance card in paper form.
- You must have international travel and health insurance issued by an insurance company in your home country, which is valid in Croatia. Such insurance must include repatriation coverage (the cost of health care is borne by the student, and later the insurance company will reimburse the given amount).
- You can regulate your health insurance upon arrival at the Croatian Health Insurance Institute (www.hzzo-net.hr). The price of health insurance is HRK 400 per month (approx. EUR 54) and gives you the right to use all health services available to Croatian citizens.
