Studenti 2. godine diplomskog studija Poduzetnički menadžment i poduzetništvo i studenti 1. godine studija Poslovna ekonomija, smjer Poduzetništvo i inovativnost Ekonomskog fakulteta u Osijeku, proveli su dva, vrlo sadržajna dana u Grazu i Mariboru. Graz je grad studenata – na oko 300.000 stanovnika u gradu je više od 60.000 studenata, koji studiraju na tri sveučilišta. Naši domaćini na Sveučilištu u Grazu, Jakob Gaugeler iz Center for Entrepreneurship and Applied Business Studies Sveučilišta u Grazu i Bernhardt Weber, direktor Start up & innovation centra Unicorn pokazali su nam sveučilište u Grazu, koje je sa 30.000 studenata drugo po veličini u Austriji, predstavili aktivnosti Centra za poduzetništvo Sveučilišta u Grazu i Unicorna, start up & innovacijskog centra, koji čine dio start up eko sustava Graza i koji se bave promoviranjem poduzetničkog ponašanja među studentima i istraživačima svih sveučilišta u Grazu.
U Mariboru, gradu na Dravi posjetili smo inkubator mariborskog sveučilišta Tovarnu podjemov (tvornicu poduzetnika), gdje nam je direktor i osnivač inkubatora Matej Rus predstavio njihove aktivnosti vezane uz promociju poduzetničkog ponašanja i djelovanja na sveučilištu, ali i u cijeloj Sloveniji. Na Ekonomsko-poslovnom fakultetu Sveučilišta u Mariboru, dočekali su nas Prof. Dr. Aleksandra Pisnik,, prodekanica za nastavu, Prof. Dr. Jernej Belak, prodekan za internacionalizaciju, Prof. Dr. Karin Sirec voditeljica katedre za poduzetništvo, prorektorica za studentska pitanja Nomi Hrast, kao i brojni drugi kolege i studenti. Domaćini su pripremili izvrstan program; predstavili su svoje studijske programe, iz kojeg su posebno izdvojili novi studijski program Data science in business, koji je prezentirao Prof. Dr. Prof. Ddr. Timotej Jagric, CQRM, voditelj programa, te su nam studenti (Patrik Senekovič i Matias Osojnik) predstavili brojne aktivnosti koje rade na Fakultetu – od različitih događaja u sklopu Ureda za internacionalizaciju do snimanja podcasta (BDP - Bruto Domaći Podcast). Doc. dr. sc. Ivona Huđek ispričala je svoje iskustvo Erasmus razmjene te potakla studente na korištenje brojnih mogućnosti ovog izvrsnog programa.
Ovakva putovanja obogaćuju, šire horizonte i potiču na suradnju. Vratili smo se puni impresija, bogatiji novim iskustvom i novim idejama za projekte.
The students of the 2nd year of the Master's in Entrepreneurial Management and Entrepreneurship program and the students of the 1st year of the Master's in Business, Entrepreneurship and Innovation concentration at the Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek spent two very meaningful days in Graz and Maribor. Graz is a student city - with a population of around 300,000, there are more than 60,000 students studying at three universities. Our hosts at the University of Graz, Jakob Gaugeler from the Center for Entrepreneurship and Applied Business Studies at the University of Graz and Bernhardt Weber, Head of [Start%20up%20&%20innovation%20centra%20Unicorn]the Unicorn Start up & Innovation Center, showed us around the University of Graz, which is the second largest in Austria with 30,000 students, and presented the activities of the Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Graz and Unicorn, the Start up & Innovation Center, which are part of the Graz start-up ecosystem and deal with the promotion of entrepreneurial behavior among students and researchers at all universities in Graz.
In Maribor, a city on the Drava River, we visited the incubator of the University of Maribor, Tovarna podjemov (Venture Factory), where the director and founder of the incubator, Matej Rus, presented us with their activities related to promote entrepreneurial behavior and entrepreneurial activities at the university, but also throughout Slovenia. At the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Maribor, we were welcomed by Prof. Dr. Aleksandra Pisnik, Vice Dean for Teaching, Prof. Dr. Jernej Belak, Vice Dean for Internationalization, Prof. Dr. Karin Sirec, Head of the Department of Entrepreneurship, Vice Rector for Student Affairs Nomi Hrast and numerous other colleagues and students. The hosts had prepared an excellent program; they presented their study programs, from which they highlighted the new study program Data Science in Business, which was presented by Prof. dr. Prof. Dr. Timotej Jagric, CQRM, Head of the programme and the students (Patrik Senekovič and Matias Osojnik) presented us with numerous activities they carry out at the Faculty - from various events at the Office for Internationalization, Marketing club etc. Asst. Ph.D. Ivona Huđek shared her experiences with the Erasmus exchange and encouraged students to take advantage of the many opportunities offered by this excellent program.
Such trips enrich, broaden horizons and promote cooperation. We came back full of impressions, richer in new experiences and new ideas for projects.
