The goal of the course is to enable students to apply theoretical principles, concepts, methods and techniques of strategic audit and strategic management, and to train them to critically review strategic choices and their impact on competitiveness and long-term business sustainability.

1. Explain theoretical frameworks, key concepts and approaches to strategic management, strategic decisions and the classification of strategies applicable in the contemporary business context.
2. Analyse the impact of the internal and external environment on the strategic choices of a business entity.
3. Critically analyse the appropriateness of strategic activities through the phases of strategy formulation, implementation, and control.
4. Assess the strategic position of a business entity and its impact on competitiveness, development and long-term sustainability of the business.
5. Prepare a strategic audit / propose strategic choices based on examples from business practice.
