
World Youth Alliance Croatia invites all young people to apply. Advocacy Academy, a project that has traditionally been held for seven consecutive years, whose purpose is to empower young people to actively participate in the democratic life of the Republic of Croatia, advocate for measures and policies of interest to them, as well as to the wider community. Additionally, the goal of the Advocacy Academy is to teach young people various forms of communication skills.
The Advocacy Academy will be held at the Friday, January 17 from 5 to 8 PM and Saturday, January 18 from 10 AM to 1:30 PM at the premises of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (Unska St. 3, 10000, Zagreb).
The topics of this year's Advocacy Academy include the type and style of communication on social media, communication campaigns in the digital environment, and an educational and interactive discussion on the topic of “Social Media - Ally or Vice of the Generations,” which will address self-branding as well as digital tools for promoting desired content and entrepreneurship.
Through lectures by marketing experts, young people will have the opportunity to learn how to effectively promote their ideas, interests, and initiatives on social media. They will gain practical knowledge and skills essential for anyone who wants to succeed in today's world, where social media plays an extremely important role.
This year's lecturers are: Prof. Dr. sc. Daniel Labaš, Professor of University Studies, Specialist in Economics. Stella Antolović, Professor, Doctor of Science. Davor Trbušić and professor. Claudio Kramarić.
