From April 13th to 17th, 16 students from the Faculty of Economics in Osijek stayed at the Poznan School of Logistics in Poznan (Poland) as part of an ERASMUS+ short-term mobility program.
The students were welcomed by Rector Adam Koliński, who then presented the University with an emphasis on intensive cooperation with local companies. The week continued with workshops on Modeling Logistics Processes led by Michał Adamczak and Adrianna Toboła-Walaszczyk. A visit to the globally successful company Bridgestone EMEA provided students with a very valuable and interesting experience, offering insight into the dynamic daily work in a global company, and they had the opportunity to witness the practical application of lean management in a highly automated central warehouse.
Thanks to the organization of the Poznan School of Logistics international office and through socializing with local students from Poznan, EFOS students had the opportunity to get to know the city from a student's perspective and enjoy its numerous cultural and gastronomic offerings!
Once again, it has been shown how continuous international cooperation enables participation in such international programs, and brings valuable experience of working in an international environment to EFOS students and faculty, exchange of knowledge, and strengthens the foundations for future successful collaborations!
