Invitation to participate in a study on core values in higher education

As part of the monitoring of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), a public consultation has been launched on the fundamental values of the academic community. We invite students as well as teaching and non-teaching staff to participate in the survey via online surveys.

The aim of the research

The survey is a key part of the monitoring process in all EHEA countries, based on the conclusions of the ministerial conferences in Rome and Tirana. Its aim is to gather information on the actual state of affairs, positive practices, and the challenges in implementing the six core values:

  • Academic freedom
  • Academic integrity
  • Institutional autonomy
  • Student and staff participation in governance
  • Public social responsibility of higher education
  • Social Responsibility of Higher Education

About the project

The research is conducted through an Erasmus+ project. New Favorite 2 (New building blocks of the Bologna Processwhich coordinates the Romanian UEFISCDI in collaboration with partners such as the European Students’ Union (ESU) and the European University Association (EUA).
