We inform you about UniSport Health free online lecture for students organized by the Croatian Academic Sports Federation in cooperation with the Mental Health and Addiction Prevention Department of the Public Health Institute „Dr. Andrija Štampar”.
Online lecture entitled "Therapy at a Click - AI as a Shoulder to Cry On" will be held On Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at 6:00 PM via the Zoom platform.
The lecture will be held by Lea Maričić, univ.spec.klin.psih., and we will discuss why young people are increasingly turning to artificial intelligence and what AI tools can (or cannot) offer them in the context of mental health.
Participants will be introduced to various forms of AI tools, their purpose, benefits, as well as potential risks and pitfalls. The lecture aims to empower participants to distinguish useful digital support from risky reliance on AI as a “substitute therapist” and to provide them with clear guidelines for the safe and responsible use of these tools.
