On March 27, 2025, the workshop „Basics of Cryptocurrencies and Blockchain“ was successfully held at the Faculty of Economics in Osijek, led by Prof. Dr. Domagoj Sajter. Through an interactive presentation and practical examples, participants gained a basic understanding of the origins of cryptocurrencies, the fundamentals of blockchain, and the pros and cons of investing in cryptocurrencies. The workshop covered concepts such as stablecoins, memecoins, DeFi, and NFTs, and also included an overview of mining and decentralized finance.
