Mandatory research workshop for 2nd year graduate students (full-time and part-time)

Dear full-time and part-time students in the 2nd year of graduate studies,

The time to write your thesis is approaching. In order for you to write your thesis as well as possible, we have organized mandatory research workshop.

In order to access the workshop, please register for the Merlin Workshop Course via the following link: https://moodle.srce.hr/2025-2026/course/view.php?id=271627

The above link, in addition to student lists and information about workshop dates, will also contain materials needed during the workshop, and after all workshops have been held, all teaching materials will be available.

Before submitting a request for approval of a topic and mentor for the development of a thesis, the student is required to attend the research-oriented version of the Workshop for the Development of Final and Graduate Theses. Students who have attended research workshop Students who have taken the workshop in previous academic years are not required to take it again.

Students who enrolled under the old program, did not complete it, and did not attend the workshop in previous years should contact us by email. drazen.novakovic@efos.hr.

The topics you will cover in this research workshop are:

  • research design
  • data collection methods
  • editing of collected data bases
  • descriptive analysis
  • graphical display and interpretation of results
  • Work originality check (Turnitin + AI)

The workshop is mandatory for all 2nd year graduate students, and the estimated duration is 120 minutes. The workshops will be held at the following times:

  • Financial Management + Business Informatics - 8.4. (Wednesday) at 14:30 (room MZS - 11)
  • __OPENROUTER_FAILED__
  • Marketing + Supply Chain Management - April 23 (Thursday) at 12:00 PM (Room MZS - 11)
  • Extraordinary - all directions - 11.5. (Monday) at 16:30 (MZS - 11 dv.)

Students who, along with valid reason, I can't attend the workshop on my time slot, I can contact you by email drazen.novakovic@efos.hr You are asking them to be allowed to attend a workshop in another group. Attending practice is generally not a valid reason.

Also, students who, due to Erasmus They are unable to attend the workshop at the offered times.
