Goal

To provide students with knowledge about modern digital platforms focused on the business environment. Through the course, students will acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to manage business tasks based on digital platforms and organise remote offices. Specific competencies are developed within the framework of seminar classes through the creation of a project assignment designed in collaboration with business stakeholders.

  1. Digital office operations and digital platforms focused on office operations. Creating business teams with predefined business tasks that require online communication (examples of platforms: Microsoft Teams, Slack, OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, simple language platforms for communication in Croatian and English).
  2. Remote office business. Planning network business cooperation. Legal regulations. Open and closed source programmes. Remote work software. A storm of ideas in project work. Public e-services for business needs (examples of platforms: Microsoft, Google, Teamviewer, e-services in the Republic of Croatia).
  3. Digital collaborative tools for managing business communication. Concept of writing business emails. Artificial intelligence in office work. Building a resume and business profile on social media (examples of platforms: LinkedIn, Europass, Canva).
  4. Building and creating a business report based on secondary or primary data (Alchemer, LimeSurvey, Microsoft, Google, text verification and language adaptation).
