The Faculty of Economics hosted members of the Network of Croatian Women

On March 7, 2026, the Faculty of Economics in Osijek hosted exceptional women—founder Caroline Spivak and members of the Croatian Women Network—who brought a special energy to the faculty ahead of the tenth anniversary of the Influential Croatian Women award.

Our guests, together with the hosts, became the "EFOS human sundial" and showed that man is the shaper of Time.

Our professor and writer Jasna Horvat guided them through the economic world of Glagolica, which stretches from the Glagolica Hall and the letter that breathes to the Glagolian perpetual motion machine.

The shared moment was immortalized in a photograph in front of the mural of the former Police Barracks, now the recognizable facade of EFOS.

It is a special joy that two of the award winners are at our very own faculty. Influential Croatian WomenProf. Dr. Nataša Drvenkar and Prof. Dr. Jasna Horvat.

This meeting contributed to promoting unity, knowledge, and inspiration within the academic community.
