The CyberSafe@EFOS project is currently being implemented at the Faculty of Economics in Osijek with the aim of enhancing cybersecurity awareness among the Faculty's students and staff. The project is funded by Erste Bank through the Erste Cyber Guardian – Security Operation Centre for Erste Bank Croatia (SOC4EBC) project, co-financed by the European Commission's Digital Europe program.
The purpose of the project is to raise the level of knowledge and empower students and staff to recognize and respond to cyber threats. In this way, the project will contribute to a safer digital environment at the Faculty and raise awareness of cybersecurity among future generations of professionals who will work in various sectors. Through a systematic approach to education, the project will help participants develop responsible habits and gain concrete knowledge that they will apply not only during their studies but also in their future professional environments.
For this reason, in collaboration with Span d.d., interactive educational content (trainings) covering the most important topics related to the basic principles of cybersecurity is available to EFOS students. This material is available to students through the Merlin system., faculty Fundamentals of Cybersecurity.
