Sanja Pfeifer has been employed since December 1996 at the Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek at the Department of Management, Organization and Entrepreneurship, and since 2012 she has been a full-time professor in a permanent position. In the focus of her research interests are predictors of growth and development and resilience of companies, behavior and behavioral intentions, transition towards low-carbon behavior of individuals and companies, creative economy and entrepreneurial ecosystem for start-up entrepreneurial activity. She is an active collaborator on a project financed by the Croatian Science Foundation (2021–2025), and is also a member of the Croatian research team in the international consortium Global Entrepreneurship Monitor. She is the author of numerous scientific papers, a reviewer in relevant domestic and foreign journals. She is a member of international professional organizations: Entrepreneurship Research and Education Network – ERENET, and the International Council for Small Business – ICSB. She is an associate of the Center for Entrepreneurship, Osijek and the Center for SMEs and Entrepreneurship Development Policy (CEPOR, Zagreb). She is also active in popularizing the profession through the Science Festival, Creative Treasury and similar events. She also participated in various professional projects, the development of strategic plans, the development of occupational standards and qualification standards for the Croatian Qualification Framework, thereby contributing to the local community and the development of the profession.
