Ivana Bestvina Bukvić is an associate professor and head of the Lifelong Learning Center at the Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek. Since 2021, she has been an associate professor at the Department of Finance and Accounting and head of the Lifelong Learning Center at the Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek. In the period from 2018 to 2021, she was an assistant professor, then an associate professor and head of the Department of Culture, Media and Management at the Academy of Arts and Culture in Osijek. From 2015 to 2018, she was an assistant professor and president of the Department of Cultural Management at the Department of Cultural Studies of the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University in Osijek. She gained many years of experience in the financial sector from 2003 to 2015, at the position of head of corporate banking relations in Zagrebačka banka d.d. (levels: junior assistant, senior assistant, manager). In 2003, she held the position of head of the office in Osijek and field coordinator of the international humanitarian organization Catholic Relief Services (Micro+ program). After finishing higher education, in the period from 2001 to 2003, she was employed in the procurement department of the company for retail and wholesale of consumer goods, Dover d.o.o. She published numerous scientific works independently and in co-authorship and was a member of the organizational and program committees of several scientific symposia in the country and abroad as well as a member of the editorial board of published conference proceedings. She is the co-author of the book “CBA – Analysis in Public Investment Projects Financed from the EU funds”. She participated in the implementation of scientific and professional projects financed from the sources of international foundations, universities and EU funds. During 2013 and 2014, she was a member of the Committee for Approving Support for Projects from the IPA Program, organized by the Osijek-Baranja County, the Regional Development Agency of Slavonia and Baranja, and Zagrebačka banka d.d. Since 2022, she has been a member of the Lifelong Learning Programs Committee of the J.J. Strossmayer University in Osijek. During 2018 and 2019, she was the president of the working group for the creation of accredited study programs: the university undergraduate study program Culture, Media and Management and the university graduate study programs Management in Culture and Creative Industries, and Media and Public Relations (single-major and double-major studies) at the Academy of Arts and Culture in Osijek.
