Đula Borozan is a full-time professor with a permanent position. She is employed at the Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek at the Department of National and International Economics. She participates in teaching Econometrics and Macroeconomics and courses related to macroeconomics at all educational levels, and as an external associate at the School of Applied Mathematics and Informatics in Osijek. She actively participated in the work of numerous foreign conferences and in the capacity of leader or collaborator in numerous scientific and professional projects. She is currently the head of the scientific project “Economic Challenges of the Transition Towards Low-Carbon Growth” of the Croatian Science Foundation (2021–2025). For her published scientific papers in top-tier journals with high impact factors, focusing on macroeconomics and macroeconomic energy studies, she has received numerous prestigious awards, including the Annual State Science Award in 2022. Since 2021, according to Stanford University, she has ranked among the top 2% of the most influential scientists in the world. She is a long-time member of the Croatian Operational Research Society, and since 2021, she has been a member of the Economic Council of the President of the Republic of Croatia.
