Since 2006, Dražen Ćućić has been employed at the Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek at the Department of National and International Economics. Since 2019, he has been working as an associate professor at the Department of National and International Economics. He has published more than 26 scientific and professional papers, mostly related to tourism, regional development, EU funds. He teaches several subjects at different levels of study within his alma mater and within the ERASMUS+ mobility program as a guest lecturer at the Department of Economics, Management, Industrial Engineering and Tourism, University of Aveiro, Portugal and Cracow University of Economics, Poland. He is actively involved in the organization of numerous educations in the field of project management and development of selective forms of tourism in cooperation with renowned business operators from the surrounding area. He is an active member of the Academy for Political Development. As a leader or member of a working group, he participated in the creation of various strategies, reports and projects for various institutions, organizations and business operators, and he participates as a consultant to business operators and organizations by connecting theory and practice.
