Dina Bičvić was born on 18 November 1988 in Osijek. She is married and has a daughter Buga. She attended and finished elementary school and natural science high school in Osijek. She began her university education in 2007 by enrolling in undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek (majoring in Financial Management), and she received her bachelor’s degree in economics in 2010. Upon completion of graduate studies at the Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek (majoring in Financial Management), she obtained the title of Master of Economics in 2012. In 2020, she defended her doctoral thesis entitled “Factors of the Impact of Externalization of Accounting Services on the Success of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises” in 2020 at the postgraduate university doctoral studies (majoring in Economics) at the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb. She was employed as an assistant in June 2014, and as a senior assistant (postdoctoral student) in November 2020 at the Department of Finance and Accounting of the Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek, where she teaches several accounting and finance courses. In addition to teaching, she does scientific research in the field of accounting and finance, and her primary areas of interest include business outsourcing, with an emphasis on the accounting function, behavioral finance and financial literacy. She continuously supplements her personal knowledge in teaching and scientific areas of interest by attending lectures, seminars and workshops. She completed the pedagogical-psychological-didactic-methodical training program in 2013 at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek, the SEM education – structural equation modeling in 2018, and the comprehensive statistical education/professional training Statistics and Methodology for Social Sciences – Basic and Advanced Topics in 2021. She is a member of the Croatian Economic Association, the Association of Accountants and Financial Workers Osijek, the Alumni Association of the Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek and Zagreb, and since 2017 the organizing committee of the international scientific conference Interdisciplinary Management Research (IMR).
