Prof. Antun Šundalić, PhD has been employed at the Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek since 1992 at the Department of Interdisciplinary Courses. Since 2012, he has been working as a full-time professor in a permanent position at the same Department. In the past time, he has published around 110 scientific and professional papers in scientific journals and proceedings of international and domestic scientific meetings. He edited eight proceedings of scientific conferences, authored five scientific monographs and two university textbooks. He was the main researcher of the scientific project “Post-transitional identity of the rural area of Slavonia and Baranja” financed by the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Croatia. He also participated as an associate in several scientific projects of the Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek and the Ivo Pilar Institute of Social Sciences in Zagreb. In his teaching activity, he taught several courses at the Faculty of Economics and Business, and as an external associate he taught sociology at several faculties of the J.J. Strossmayer University and at the polytechnics in Slavonski Brod, Vukovar and Požega. As a lecturer, he participated in postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Economics and Business and the Faculty of Agrobiotechnical Sciences of the J.J. Strosmayer University in Osijek. In 2007, he started the scientific conference “Globalization and Regional Identity”, which is held every other year.
