Sunčica Oberman Peterka has been a full-time employee at the Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek since 2000. Since 2023, she has been a full-time professor at the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Osijek, where she teaches entrepreneurial and strategic courses. From 2021, she holds the position of vice dean for cooperation with the environment, international cooperation and projects of the Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek. She is also the leader of the international interdisciplinary interuniversity doctoral study Entrepreneurship and Innovation. She is one of the founders of the Association of Alumni of the Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek and the Association of Alumni of the postgraduate study in Entrepreneurship. In addition to her regular education, Sunčica Oberman Peterka received intensive supplementary education, always focused on the issue of entrepreneurship, at numerous European, American and Croatian institutions. Sunčica Oberman Peterka participated in numerous international and domestic conferences, where she presented independent or co-authored scientific papers. Research interests: entrepreneurial education, entrepreneurial university, authentic leadership, starting a business venture, small business management, strategic management.
Sunčica Oberman Peterka is very engaged in professional activities focused on researching the needs for entrepreneurial education, the offer of entrepreneurial education, the level of innovation in the SMEs sector, and in the design and implementation of educational programs for SMEs and has participated in numerous professional and scientific projects related to this issue. She has been a member of the Assembly of the Center for Entrepreneurship Osijek and the Assembly and research team of Cepora (SMEs and Entrepreneurship Policy Center), and the GEM research team for Croatia since 2002.
