CyberSafe@EFOS: Cybersecurity Basics workshop held

On March 21, 2025, an educational workshop titled "Fundamentals of Cybersecurity" was held at the Faculty of Economics in Osijek for faculty employees (academic and administrative staff) in the field of cybersecurity, as part of the project. CyberSafe@EFOS. Seventy employees participated in the workshop, where they had the opportunity to gain basic knowledge about recognizing various forms of cyberattacks and about the importance and methods of data protection.

As a reminder, the CyberSafe@EFOS project aims to enhance cybersecurity awareness among the Faculty's students and staff. The project's purpose is to raise the level of knowledge and empower students and staff to recognize and respond to cyber threats. In this way, the project will contribute to a safer digital environment for the Faculty and raise cybersecurity awareness among future generations of professionals who will work in various sectors.

The project is led by the Faculty of Economics in Osijek. It runs from January 27 to July 31, 2025, and is funded by Erste Bank through the Erste Cyber Guardian – Security Operation Centre for Erste Bank Croatia (SOC4EBC) project, co-financed by the European Commission's Digital Europe program.
