Within the project Meet the Employer, at the Faculty of Economics in Osijek, on December 12, 2023, the eleventh presentation of companies/employers was held.
Lecture under the name „"„Career in the Žito Group – guided by tradition, open to ideas of the future“"“ held by Žito Group employees: Valentina Pravdic – Head of Human Resources Management, Marin Peranovic – key account manager and Ivan Dominkovic - Software Specialist.
In an interesting and informative presentation, representatives of the Žito Group presented the company structure and their career paths to the students.
They pointed out that the Žito Group is one of the drivers of the economy in its surroundings.
They also gave away gift packages to the fastest and most accurate students in a very interesting quiz, as well as the opportunity to participate in the company's selection process to gain insight and experience in how to approach testing during employment.
Representatives of the Žito Group emphasized and told the students, among other things: „"Surround yourself with good people. Go for it, don't wait for the perfect moment and the perfect job! Do what you love. Nothing comes overnight."“
Office for career counseling and career development at the Faculty of Economics in Osijek in 2022 launched a project called Get to know the employer/industry. The goal of the project is to introduce different companies/employers as well as different industries to students, present the opportunities that a certain company/industry offers (projects, internships, etc.), present career development opportunities in the company after completing their studies, and the expected and required knowledge and skills for different jobs.
