The Faculty of Economics in Osijek and the Center for Peace, Nonviolence and Human Rights Osijek signed an Agreement on Scientific and Professional Cooperation on October 28, 2025, in order to strengthen the connection between the academic community and the civil sector and provide students with additional opportunities for personal and professional development.
Through this collaboration, students of the Faculty of Economics have the opportunity to engage in the Center's activities through internships, volunteering, and projects that foster social change and local community development. At the same time, the agreement opens up space for joint projects, research, and educational activities aimed at promoting human rights, social responsibility, and active citizenship.
In this way, students, in addition to acquiring practical knowledge and skills, have the opportunity to better understand the work of civil society organizations and contribute to their work with their own ideas and knowledge. The cooperation between EFOS and the Center for Peace represents the connection of scientific research work with the needs of society and an example of good practice in involving students in the processes of building a more just and humane society.
