The seventh generation of participants in the lifelong learning program "EU Project Manager" successfully passed the final exam and submitted their project applications on Tuesday, February 18, 2025. This generation of participants included 15 highly educated unemployed individuals, for whom the program was fully funded by Osijek-Baranja County. During the training, the participants developed project applications as a team, focusing on social problems in their community: the high number of abandoned animals, a lack of green spaces in new residential blocks, a large generation gap, and excessive clothing shopping and consumption. With their project proposals, they offered solutions to these very serious challenges of modern society.
During the training, participants regularly evaluated both the program and the instructors, and their work and projects were assessed by a professional committee at the end of the training. Both groups—the instructors and the participants—received an excellent rating.
The next generation of participants and the education cycle will begin in the fall of 2025. More information about the program can be found at Pages of lifelong learning Faculty of Economics in Osijek.
