On Monday, March 2, the University Chess Championship was held, in which our faculty had as many as 16 representatives. The high turnout of students and their excellent performance once again demonstrated the sportsmanship, knowledge, and dedication of our students.
Our student Anja Jovanović was particularly outstanding, securing first place with brilliant play and achieving an excellent success. Antonio Sabolić also achieved a very good result, finishing the competition in third place, while Toni Vuković came close to the podium, taking an excellent fourth place. Among the notable results, student Ema Volarić also stood out, securing sixth place.
We are proud of all our students who participated in the championship, demonstrated great knowledge, fighting spirit, and sportsmanship, and represented our faculty with distinction. Congratulations to everyone on an excellent performance and the results achieved!
