The project "Creating Social Impact through Tailored Digital Teaching Formats" presents a strong case for higher education instructors from various disciplines who aim to design digital teaching formats to increase social impact but lack the appropriate skills and tools. The objectives of this project are: - To increase knowledge about the success factors of digital teaching formats for creating social impact. - To develop a 'fast and easy-to-use' configurator for designing an adaptable digital teaching format for creating social impact (DSIG course). - Enable the iterative development of the 'DSIG' course through simultaneous pilot tests, which will allow for the proportional scaling of the configurator and make it available to further European academics. - Develop a skillset for higher education lecturers to adopt and deliver digital teaching formats based on societal challenges, which can help them increase the impact of their role as engaged academics. - Develop students' skill sets by exposing them to real-life societal challenges, which can help increase their value as future entrepreneurs or employees. - Make the acquired knowledge on digital teaching formats for creating societal impact available to the European public and beyond.
