This semester (Summer Semester 2024/2025 academic year), Professor Masako Futamura from the Faculty of Business Management at Osaka Sangyo University in Japan is visiting the Faculty of Economics in Osijek.
Professor Futamura is a researcher in the field of accounting and has decided to spend one semester of her sabbatical year at our faculty. In collaboration with Professor Blaženka Hadrović Zekić, she is researching the similarities and differences between the accounting systems of Croatia and Japan. In addition, Professor Futamura will also give several lectures to students on Japanese business and national culture, and will speak about the differences in management styles between Croatia and Japan.
This visit is also a good opportunity to strengthen international cooperation at the institutional level, to get acquainted with a new culture and its specific features, and to identify common research interests that can serve as the basis for further joint activities.
