
As part of the Meet the Employer project, at the Faculty of Economics in Osijek, on March 6, 2024, a presentation of the company PwC was held (PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting Ltd.).
Lecture entitled "Meet the employer, meet PwC.” The employees held Petra Uzar and Karmela Kapetanovic from the Human Capital department, Vladimir Topolnjak and Mario Raič from the Audit department, and Nicole Brnas from the ESG|Sustainable finance department.
PwC Croatia is part of a global network of firms operating in 152 countries, with over 327,000 employees, providing services in the areas of auditing, accounting consulting, business consulting and tax services.
In a very interesting and informative presentation, PwC representatives introduced the company and, in particular, the new quarterly training program for interns in the audit department, for which applications are currently open to students in their final year of economics programs. As part of the presentation, students were able to learn the basics of ESG and non-financial reporting, which has become mandatory for large companies, and soon for all companies operating in Europe.
The Meet the Employer was launched in 2022. So far, 12 companies have been presented through the project (https://www.efos.unios.hr/za-studente/karijere/The goal of the project is to familiarize students with business practice and help them make decisions about developing their careers and choosing the industry and field in which they want to work.
