Osijek, March 14, 2024 – An informative workshop entitled Horizon Europe: financial opportunities for social sciences. The workshop aimed to introduce researchers/scientists from the University of Osijek to the possibilities of funding research activities in social sciences through the Horizon Europe program in the new financial period.
The workshop was attended by colleagues from the Ministry of Science and Education and the Agency for Mobility and EU Programmes, who presented the areas of the Horizon Europe programme (Marie Sklodowska Curie Actions; Civil Security for Society; Culture, Creativity and Inclusive Society; Climate, Energy and Mobility; Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment and Widening Participation and the European Research Area) and funding opportunities for research and innovation activities with a special emphasis on the participation of social sciences and humanities.
Extensive experience in applying and implementing projects financed from the Horizon programme was presented by Dr. Zoran Aralica, scientific advisor from the Institute of Economics in Zagreb - from gaining first-hand experience working on projects financed from the Horizon programme to specific recommendations for successful application, implementation and dissemination of project results.
