As part of the long-standing collaboration between the Faculty of Economics in Pécs and EFOS in numerous activities (Hackathon, Summer School), a lecture was also held by Luke Pittaway, a professor at Ohio State University. Professor Pittaway is an expert in entrepreneurial behavior and networking, and has focused his research on entrepreneurial education and learning. In 2018, he was awarded the USASBE Entrepreneurial Educator of the Year award.
Professor Pittaway is a member of the editorial boards of several highly ranked journals, most notably the International Small Business Journal. He delivered a lecture to EFOS instructors titled "How to of Academic Publishing," in which he shared his experiences and advice for publishing scientific papers in high-impact journals.
