Freshers' Week is traditionally held at our faculty - a welcome week for new students of the Faculty of Economics in Osijek.
This year, we began Freshman Week 2025 with a festive welcome to the new generation and wished them a successful start to their academic journey.
After the introductory lecture by the Dean, Prof. Dr. Sc. Sunčica Oberman Peterka, an inspiring speech on the occasion of entering the student world was shared by Ana Serdarušić, EFOS alumni and co-owner of the agency Inbox.
This was followed by a presentation of the teaching staff who will be accompanying the freshmen during their first year of study, as well as a presentation of the EFOS student associations and Red Cross Osijek.
To make getting to know the faculty even more interesting, an Orientation Hunt for Information was organized in collaboration with the company HEMCO, which provided valuable prizes to the best teams.
In the rest of the freshmen's week, a series of workshops followed, which helped the students to become more familiar with the academic environment and to cope better in their first student days.
And after all the formalities, we believe that the freshmen were most looking forward to the freshman party powered by Magic team and Bullart, in the organization EFOS Student Union.
