COMPETITION
for selection

1. one employee for the position - head of organizational unit 4 (third-level management position/head of the Department for Students and Studies) at the Secretariat of the Faculty of Economics in Osijek for an indefinite period of time, full-time
2. one employee for a type III job position – Library technician at the Library of the Faculty of Economics in Osijek for an indefinite period of time, full-time
3. one employee for a position of type III - clerk for professional and administrative tasks in accounting in the Payroll and Accounting Office in the Financial Operations and Accounting Service in the Secretariat of the Faculty of Economics in Osijek for an indefinite period of time, full-time

All candidates for the Competition must meet the general conditions prescribed by the Labor Act (Official Gazette, No. 93/14, 127/17, 98/19, 151/22 and 64/23).

Candidates for the competition under point 1. In addition to the general conditions prescribed by the Labor Law, they are also required to meet the following conditions:

• completed university graduate studies in social sciences or humanities (CROQF level 7.1. university)
• knowledge of English
• computer skills
• three (3) years of work experience in the same or similar positions.

  Along with the application for the competition, candidates are required to submit:

• a handwritten, signed application for the competition
• biography
• original or certified copy of a diploma of completed university graduate studies in social sciences or humanities (CROQF level 7.1. university)
• copy of identification document
• appropriate proof of work experience (copy of employment contract or other appropriate proof of type of work and duration of employment)
• electronic record of insurance data from the Croatian Pension Insurance Institute (e-workbook), not older than the date of publication of this tender
• proof of knowledge of English language level B2 in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (certificate or personally signed Declaration form published on the website of the Faculty of Economics in Osijek efos.unios.hr
• completed and signed Consent form for the collection and processing of personal data published on the website of the Faculty of Economics in Osijek efos.unios.hr

Candidates for the competition under point 2. In addition to the general conditions prescribed by the Labor Law, they are also required to meet the following conditions:

• secondary vocational education in social studies
• other conditions specified by the Act on Libraries and Library Activities
• computer skills
• one (1) year of work experience.

Along with the application for the competition, candidates are required to submit:

• a personally signed application for the competition
• biography
• original or certified copy of a certificate of completion of secondary school education in social studies
• copy of identification document
• appropriate proof of work experience (copy of employment contract or other appropriate proof of type of work and duration of employment)
• electronic record of insurance data from the Croatian Pension Insurance Institute (e-workbook), not older than the date of publication of this tender
• completed and signed Consent form for the collection and processing of personal data published on the website of the Faculty of Economics in Osijek

Candidates for the competition under point 3. In addition to the general conditions prescribed by the Labor Law, they are also required to meet the following conditions:

• Completed secondary education in economics or administration (CROQF level 4.2)
• one (1) year of work experience.

Along with the application for the competition, candidates are required to submit:

• a personally signed application for the competition
• biography
• original or certified copy of a certificate of completion of secondary school education in economics or administration
• copy of identification document
• appropriate proof of work experience (copy of employment contract or other appropriate proof of type of work and duration of employment)
• electronic record of insurance data from the Croatian Pension Insurance Institute (e-workbook), not older than the date of publication of this tender
• completed and signed Consent form for the collection and processing of personal data published on the website of the Faculty of Economics in Osijek efos.unios.hr.

Job description of the positions - Head of the Department for Students and Studies, Library Technician and Officer for Professional and Administrative Affairs in Accounting at the Faculty of Economics in Osijek has been published on the website of the Faculty of Economics in Osijek. www.efos.unios.hr.

Persons of both sexes can apply for the competition under equal conditions.

Only a person who meets the formal requirements of the competition and who has submitted a timely and complete application for the competition will be considered a candidate for the competition. A complete application is considered to be an application that contains all the information and attachments specified in the competition and is signed by hand. Late and incomplete applications will not be considered.

The documentation is submitted in two (2) copies.

All candidates for the competition under ordinal numbers 1, 2 and 3 who meet the formal requirements of the competition must take part in a written test and/or interview, and will be informed about the place and time of the written test and/or interview via the Faculty's website and via e-mail. Candidates who do not take part in the test and/or interview upon invitation to the test will be considered to have withdrawn their application for the Competition and will not be considered candidates for the competition.

Candidates who, based on special regulations – the Act on Croatian Homeland War Veterans and Members of Their Families („Official Gazette“ No. 121/17, 98/19, 84/21 and 156/23), Article 48 of the Act on Civilian Victims of Homeland War („Official Gazette“ No. 84/21) and Article 48.f. of the Act on the Protection of Military and Civilian War Invalids (Official Gazette, No. 33/92, 57/92, 77/92, 27/93, 58/93, 02/94, 76/94, 108/95, 108/96, 82/01, 103/03, 148/13 and 98/19), Article 9 of the Act on Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities (Official Gazette, No. 157/13, 152/14, 39/18 and 32/20) call for the right to priority in employment, they are obliged to refer to this right in their application for the competition and to attach all evidence prescribed by special regulations for the exercise of this right. The aforementioned candidates have priority in employment compared to other applicants, only under equal conditions. For candidates who, in their application, invoke the right to employment priority under the Act on Croatian Veterans of Homeland War and Members of Their Families ("Official Gazette" No. 121/17, 98/19, 84/21 and 156/23) and the Act on Civilian Victims of the Homeland War ("Official Gazette" No. 84/21), the list of evidence required to exercise this right is available at the link of the Ministry of Croatian Veterans: https://branitelji.gov.hr/zaposljavanje-843/843.

Candidates who invoke the right to priority in employment pursuant to Article 9 of the Act on Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities ("Official Gazette" No. 157/13, 152/14, 39/18 and 32/20) are required to invoke this right in their application for the competition and to submit all evidence of meeting the required conditions, as well as proof of disability.

The decision on the selection of candidates will be published on the website of the Faculty of Economics in Osijek. www.efos.unios.hr  no later than eight (8) days from the date of the Decision.

All candidates will be notified of the results of the competition no later than (15) days from the date of its completion via the website of the Faculty of Economics in Osijek. www.efos.unios.hr.

The Faculty of Economics in Osijek reserves the right to notify all registered candidates via e-mail. Candidates are required to provide their e-mail address in their application for the Competition.

By applying for the competition, each candidate gives consent to all his/her personal data contained in the competition documentation being collected and processed for the purpose of implementing the competition in accordance with the regulations governing the protection of personal data, in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation). The consent form is published with the competition on the website of the Faculty of Economics in Osijek Osijek www.efos.unios.hr. Without a duly completed and signed Consent Form accompanying the application for the competition, the application will be considered incomplete and will be rejected.

Applications with evidence of meeting the competition requirements must be submitted within eight (8) days from the date of publication of the tender to the address: Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, Faculty of Economics in Osijek, Trg Ljudevita Gaja 7, 31000 Osijek, with the indication: „"application for the competition under item _".
