EduFest: Festival of Studying and Student Life

As part of this year's Festival of Studying and Student Life (EduFest), the Fair of Croatian Universities is being held for the first time.

The Institute for Educational Development (IRO) is organizing EduFest on November 25, 2025, an event that offers young people answers to key questions about opportunities in higher education and early career development. This year, EduFest will for the first time host the Fair of Croatian Universities and Colleges, providing detailed information in a single day about the opportunities offered by professional studies, especially in transitioning to the job market. EduFest will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the lobby of the National and University Library in Zagreb, and participation is open to everyone and free of charge. Exhibition of Croatian Universities of Applied Sciences

The main partner of this year's EduFest is the Choir of the Croatian Universities, and EduFest will host The fair of higher vocational schools, held for the first time in Croatia. More than 17 colleges from across Croatia will present their range of professional degree programs at exhibition booths. In the festival's exhibition area, visitors will be able to learn firsthand about the opportunities offered in higher education in Croatia and abroad. Exhibitors will also present opportunities for professional internships during studies and the possibility of participating in mobility programs during their studies, especially in international student destinations such as the USA, Austria, and China. Numerous exhibitors will present financial support opportunities, and Higher education institutions, cities, embassies and cultural centers, and partners from the business community They will present their programs that support students and higher education. In the accompanying program, visitors will be able to watch a student debate on continuing education and a student panel titled „What I Do When I'm Not Studying“ about quality leisure time through active participation in student organizations, clubs, and associations.

For 21 years, IRO has been organizing EduFest with the goal of increasing awareness of opportunities in higher education, scholarships, and student mobility. Alongside the Assembly of Universities of the Republic of Croatia, the main partner, support for the event this year is also provided by the Ministry of Science, Education and Youth of the Republic of Croatia, the Agency for Mobility and EU Programs, and the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Croatia, as well as by the long-standing partner and host of this year's EduFest, the National and University Library in Zagreb.
