As part of the Erasmus+ project Business Analytics Skills for Future-proof Supply Chains (BAS4SC), which is in its third and final year, held its third training for students. From June 2 to 6, 2025, faculty and students of the Faculty of Economics in Osijek hosted faculty and students from Poland's Poznan University of Technology and Poznan Higher School of Logistics, Serbia's University of Novi Sad, and Slovenia's University of Maribor.
Twenty-two students participated in the testing of the materials „Statistical Methods for the Analysis of Logistic Data,“ developed during the first and second years of the project in the form of a book, case studies, and teaching materials. In the EFOS computer labs, students had the opportunity to work with the SPSS statistical software and, by combining theoretical knowledge with practical application, gained insight into statistical methods, data management, and advanced analytical techniques tailored for decision-making in business logistics.
After the previous training at EFOS in April, which was accompanied by unusually cold weather, this time the visiting students had the opportunity to enjoy the summer joys of student life in Osijek. After the morning's work, they exchanged knowledge, experiences, and other interesting insights from student life during get-togethers in the afternoon and evening along the Drava River and in the beautiful Tvrđa.
Once again, all guests expressed their satisfaction with participating in and staying in Osijek, and the project participants have a final conference in Poznań in September. More about the project can be found on the website. bas4sc.put.poznan.pl.
