The „WE – Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow“ project aims to address the problem of negative migration trends in Croatia, particularly the emigration of the younger population. Scientific research will define the areas where necessary social changes have been identified as essential for solving this problem. Through interdisciplinary collaboration among civil society organizations, higher education and scientific institutions, and local (regional) government bodies, six documents will be created containing public policy guidelines for the areas identified by the project as key to solving the problem. The public policy guidelines will be submitted to the Government of the Republic of Croatia to contribute to initiating reforms and adopting new measures aimed at combating negative trends in population migration and employment. During the project's duration, numerous workshops and panel discussions will be organized to involve the general public, with the option for more active participation through volunteering for all interested parties. The launch of the website and its accompanying mobile application, along with the project's activities and results, will be publicly available and will serve as a foundation for further progress in addressing the problem of negative trends in migration and employment in Croatia.
