Visit of students of the graduate study program Entrepreneurial Management and Entrepreneurship to Graz and Maribor

Second-year students of the graduate program in Entrepreneurial Management and Entrepreneurship and first-year students of the Business Economics program, Entrepreneurship and Innovation track Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek, They spent two very content-rich days in Graz and Maribor. Graz is a student city – with around 300,000 inhabitants, more than 60,000 are students studying at three universities. Our hosts at the University of Graz, Jacob Gaugeler from Center for Entrepreneurship and Applied Business Studies The universities in Graz and Bernhardt Weber, director Unicorn Startup & Innovation Center they showed us the University of Graz, which with 30,000 students is the second largest in Austria, presented the activities of the University of Graz's Center for Entrepreneurship and Unicorn, a start-up & innovation center, which are part of Graz's start-up ecosystem and are dedicated to promoting entrepreneurial behavior among students and researchers at all universities in Graz.

In Maribor, a city on the Drava River, we visited the Maribor University incubator. Livestock farming (the entrepreneur's factory), where the director and founder of the incubator is for us Matej Rus presented their activities related to promoting entrepreneurial behavior and action at the university, as well as throughout Slovenia. At Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Maribor, we were greeted by Prof. Dr. Aleksandra Pisnik,Dean of Instruction, Professor Dr. Jernej Belak, Dean for Internationalization, Prof. Dr. Karin Sirec Head of the Department of Entrepreneurship, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs Nomi Hrast, as well as numerous other colleagues and students. The hosts prepared an excellent program; they presented their study programs, from which they particularly highlighted the new Data Science in Business program, which was presented by Prof. Dr. Prof. Dr. Timotej Jagric, CQRM, program director, and our students (Patrick Senekovic and Matias Osojnik) presented numerous activities they carry out at the Faculty – from various events within the Office of Internationalization to recording podcasts (BDP – Gross Domestic Podcast). Assoc. Prof. Dr. sc. Ivona Huđek She shared her experience of the Erasmus exchange and encouraged students to take advantage of the many opportunities this excellent program offers.

Such trips enrich you, broaden your horizons, and encourage collaboration. We returned full of impressions, enriched by new experiences and new ideas for projects.

At the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Maribor, we were welcomed by Professor Dr. Aleksandra Pisnik, Vice Dean for Teaching, Professor Dr. Jernej Belak, Vice Dean for Internationalization, Professor Dr. Karin Sirec, Head of the Department of Entrepreneurship, Vice Rector for Student Affairs Nomi Hrast and numerous other colleagues and students. The hosts had prepared an excellent program; they presented their study programs, from which they highlighted the new Data Science in Business study program, which was presented by Professor, Doctor, Professor, Doctor Timotej Jagric, CQRM, Head of the program and the students (Patrick Senekovic and Matias Osojnik) presented us with numerous activities they carry out at the Faculty - from various events at the Office for Internationalization, the Marketing club, etc. Assistant Professor, Ph.D. Ivona Huđek She shared her experiences with the Erasmus exchange and encouraged students to take advantage of the many opportunities offered by this excellent program.
