Sustainable future of the Croatian economy: EFOS Business Forum

The Faculty of Economics in Osijek (EFOS) announces the organization of the first EFOS Business Forum, titled "Sustainable Future of the Croatian Economy." The event will be held on March 26, 2024, starting at 1:00 PM at the Faculty of Economics in Osijek.

The forum begins with the opening lecture "The Role of Financial Institutions in Greening the Economy" by Dr. sc. Sandra Švaljek.

After the opening lecture, a panel discussion will follow titled "Is the Economy in Croatia Green Enough and What Can We Do Better?", featuring:

  • Stjepan Ergović, Nexe Group, Member of the Management Board

  • Prof. Dr. sc. Boris Crnković, Faculty of Economics in Osijek, Dean

EFOS Business Forum promotes the core values of sustainability, innovation, and diversity in thinking. Through dialogue and collaboration, the Forum aims to shape solutions to the sustainability challenges facing the Croatian economy.

The Forum's goals include promoting sustainability through innovation, discussing the role of financial institutions in greening the economy, bringing together experts from various sectors to jointly shape the path toward a sustainable economy of the future, and fostering diversity of thought and the meeting of different perspectives that will contribute to solving sustainability challenges.

We are pleased to invite students, professors, practitioners, and all interested parties to join us at the first EFOS Business Forum and contribute to the dialogue on key sustainability issues in the Croatian economy.
