IN as part of the EU Projects Open Day Organized by the Ministry of Regional Development and European Union Funds, the Office for EU Projects and Programs at the Faculty of Economics in Osijek organized an informational workshop entitled: Blended Intensive Programs (BIPs) for higher education institutions. The workshop was held on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at the Faculty of Economics in Osijek. The fact that the topic was very current and interesting is evidenced by the fact that the hall was full—about 60 participants from numerous units of Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek attended the workshop.
The workshop was led by Associate Professor Dr. sc. Martina Tomičić Furjan, Dean for International Cooperation and Associate Professor, PhD Iva Gregurec, Head of the Department of Economics, from the Faculty of Organization and Informatics in Varaždin.
Given their many years of experience in applying for and implementing BIP projects, the instructors shared their knowledge with a wealth of concrete examples from projects they have participated in so far.
The goal of the workshop was to highlight the benefits of BIP projects and encourage teachers to apply for and participate in them.
