All candidates for the competition must meet the general conditions prescribed by the Labor Act ("Official Gazette" No. 93/14, 127/17, 98/19, 51/22 and 64/23).
Kandidati natječaja osim kriterija propisanih člankom 39. stavkom 7. Zakona o visokom obrazovanju i znanstvenoj djelatnosti („Narodne novine“ br. 119/22), obvezni su ispuniti uvjete propisane člankom 123. stavka 5. Statuta Sveučilišta Josipa Jurja Strossmayera u Osijeku, člankom 45. stavkom 5. Statuta Ekonomskog fakulteta u sastavu Sveučilišta Josipa Jurja Strossmayera u Osijeku te člankom 29. Pravilnika o provedbi postupka izbora/reizbora na znanstveno-nastavna, umjetničko-nastavna, nastavna, suradnička i stručna radna mjesta na Sveučilištu Josipa Jurja Strossmayera u Osijeku (u daljnjem tekstu: Pravilnik Sveučilišta).
Candidates are required to submit documentation according to Obrascu br. 5 – Prijava na natječaj za izbor na suradničko radno mjesto višeg asistenta, koji je objavljen na mrežnoj stranici Ekonomskog fakulteta u Osijeku www.efos.unios.hr.
The Law on Higher Education and Scientific Activity, the Statute of the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University in Osijek, the Statute of the Faculty of Economics within the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University in Osijek and the Regulations on the implementation of the election/re-election procedure for scientific-teaching, artistic-teaching, teaching, associate and professional positions at the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University in Osijek have been published on the website of the Faculty of Economics in Osijek. https://www.efos.unios.hr/o-fakultetu/transparentost .
For candidates who are foreign citizens, it is necessary to submit proof of knowledge of the Croatian language in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (C2).
Persons of both sexes may apply for the competition under equal conditions. Only a person who meets the formal requirements of the competition and who has submitted a timely and complete application for the competition will be considered a candidate for the competition. A complete application is an application that contains all the information and attachments specified in the competition and is signed by hand. Late and incomplete applications will not be considered.
Candidates who meet the formal requirements of the competition and who have submitted the required documentation with their application must attend an interview before the Committee to verify their motivation and inclination towards scientific research work. They will be notified of the location of the interview via email from the Faculty of Economics in Osijek no later than five (5) days before the interview. Candidates who do not attend the interview before the Committee will be deemed to have withdrawn their application and will not be considered candidates for the competition.
Candidates who, based on special regulations – the Act on Croatian Homeland War Veterans and Members of Their Families (Official Gazette no. 121/17, 98/19 and 84/21), Article 48 of the Act on Civilian Victims of Homeland War (Official Gazette no. 84/21) and Article 48f. of the Act on the Protection of Military and Civilian War Invalids (Official Gazette No. 33/92, 57/92, 77/92, 27/93, 58/93, 2/94, 76/94, 108/95, 108/96, 82/01, 103/03, 148/13 and 98/19), Article 9 of the Act on Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities (Official Gazette No. 157/13, 152/14, 39/18 and 32/20) call for the right to priority in employment, they are obliged to refer to this right in their application for the competition and to attach all evidence prescribed by special regulations for the exercise of this right. The aforementioned candidates shall have priority in employment in relation to other applicants, only under equal conditions. For candidates who, in their application, claim the right to preferential employment under the Act on Croatian Veterans of Homeland War and Members of Their Families (Official Gazette no. 121/17, 98/19 and 84/21) and the Act on Civilian Victims of the Homeland War (Official Gazette no. 84/21), the list of evidence required to exercise this right is available at the link of the Ministry of Croatian Veterans: https://branitelji.gov.hr/zaposljavanje-843/843. Kandidati koji se pozivaju na pravo prednosti pri zapošljavanju sukladno članku 9. Zakona o profesionalnoj rehabilitaciji i zapošljavanju osoba s invaliditetom (NN br. 157/13., 152/14., 39/18. i 32/20.) u prijavi na natječaj dužni su se pozvati se na to pravo te priložiti sve dokaze o ispunjavanju traženih uvjeta, kao i dokaz o invaliditetu.
All candidates will be notified of the results of the competition no later than (15) days from the date of its completion.
By applying for the competition, each candidate gives consent to all their personal data contained in the competition documentation being collected and processed for the purpose of implementing the competition in accordance with the regulations governing the protection of personal data, in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation). Consent form was published with the competition on the website of the Faculty of Economics in Osijek Osijek www.efos.unios.hr. Without a duly completed and signed Consent form with the competition application, prijava će se smatrati nepotpunom i odbacit će se.
Applications with evidence of meeting the competition requirements and completed and signed Consent form for the collection and processing of personal data for the purpose of implementing the competition are submitted in electronic form to the address: office@efos.hr within thirty (30) days from the date of publication of the vacancy notice in the "Official Gazette" with the following indication: "Application for the vacancy notice - senior assistant."„
