COMPETITION

for enrollment of the 11th generation interuniversity interdisciplinary doctoral study program  „"ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND INNOVATION" in the academic year 2023/2024. for the academic degree of Doctor of Science in the field of social sciences (dr. sc. socio.).

AND.

1. The interuniversity interdisciplinary doctoral study program ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND INNOVATION is conducted Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, Faculty of Economics in Osijek, International Centre for Entrepreneurship Studies (ICES) and UNESCO Chair in Entrepreneurship Education in collaboration with Turku School of Economics, Finland; University of Maribor, Slovenia; Universitaet Klagenfurt, Austria; Durham University, United Kingdom.
2. The interuniversity interdisciplinary doctoral study program ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND INNOVATION lasts three years, or six semesters, and upon completion, 180 ECTS credits and the academic degree of Doctor of Science (dr. sc. socio.) in social sciences are awarded.

ENROLLMENT CONDITIONS:

The right to enroll in Interuniversity interdisciplinary doctoral study program PENTREPRENEURSHIP AND INNOVATION are achieved by students who have:

• Completed university graduate study or university integrated undergraduate and graduate study in the field of social sciences, field: economics or law
• completed university graduate study or university integrated undergraduate and graduate study not in the field of social sciences (field: economics or law) with the obligation to take qualifying exams
• Completed undergraduate university study according to the study system before 2005 in the field of social sciences, field: economics or law
• Completed undergraduate university study according to the study system before 2005 that is not in the field of social sciences (field: economics or law) with the obligation to take differential exams
• Completed postgraduate scientific (master's) study in the field of social sciences

People who have completed their studies abroad must undergo the procedure for academic recognition of their foreign higher education qualification.

Number of enrollment places: 8

III.

Along with the application, applicants must submit:

1. completed application form
2. biography
3. proof of citizenship
4. certified copy of the diploma of completed studies
5. certified transcript of grades or additional study document
6. recommendation from a university professor, if the grade point average is lower than 3.51
7. two photos (4 x 6 cm)
8. Applicants who are in the science and higher education system in the associate title of assistant are required to submit an employment contract.
9. motivational essay (one page of text)
10. If the tuition fee is paid by the employer, a certified confirmation from the employer of the payment of the tuition fee to the applicant is required.
11. completed and signed consent form for the collection and processing of personal data for the purpose of implementing the Competition (available at the web address www.efos.unios.hr )

IV.

Costs of interuniversity interdisciplinary doctoral studies

Total tuition fee in accordance with the study program of the Interuniversity Interdisciplinary Doctoral Study "„ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND INNOVATION“" is 12,608.67 EUR (95,000.00 kn at a fixed conversion rate of 7.53450). The tuition fee is paid to the Faculty's bank account: IBAN HR9424020061101070944 call number: (02) 230200-OIB or date of birth.

Students who pay the full tuition fee upon enrollment are granted a 5% discount.

Dynamics of installment payment of school fees:

• EUR 2,123.56 (16,000.00 kn at a fixed conversion rate of 7.53450) upon enrollment + EUR 2,123.56 (16,000.00 kn at a fixed conversion rate of 7.53450) by the end of the first year
• EUR 2,123.56 (HRK 16,000.00 at a fixed conversion rate of 7.53450) upon enrollment in the 2nd year + EUR 2,123.56 (HRK 16,000.00 at a fixed conversion rate of 7.53450) by the end of the 2nd year
• EUR 2,123.56 (HRK 16,000.00 at a fixed conversion rate of 7.53450) upon enrollment in the 3rd year + EUR 1,990.84 (HRK 15,000.00 at a fixed conversion rate of 7.53450) by the end of the 3rd year

Selection of participants:

The selection of participants is made based on the average grade point average during the graduate study, motivational essay, existing research and scientific references, and the recommendation of a potential advisor/research supervisor. Applicants must be fluent in English.
