
Sunčica Oberman Peterka has been permanently employed at the Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek since 2000. Since 1 October 2025, she holds the position of Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek. Since 2023, she has been a full professor with tenure at the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Osijek, where she teaches entrepreneurship and strategic courses. From 2021 to 2025, she was the Vice-Dean for Cooperation with the Environment, International Cooperation, and Projects, and from 2013 to 2021, the Vice-Dean for Teaching and Students at the Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek. She is also the Head of the international interdisciplinary inter-university doctoral study programme "Entrepreneurship and Innovativeness." She is one of the founders of the Alumni Association of the Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek and the Alumni Association of the Postgraduate Study of Entrepreneurship. In addition to her regular education, Sunčica Oberman Peterka has intensively pursued supplementary education, always focused on the topic of entrepreneurship at numerous European, American, and Croatian institutions, as well as on the issue of quality in higher education and the creation of innovative and entrepreneurial universities. Sunčica Oberman Peterka has participated in numerous international and domestic conferences, where she presented independent scientific papers or papers co-authored with others. Sunčica Oberman Peterka is highly engaged in professional activities focused on researching the need for entrepreneurial education, in designing and implementing educational programs related to entrepreneurial topics, and in activities related to quality in higher education. She has participated in numerous professional and scientific projects related to this issue. She is a member of the Assembly of the Centre for Entrepreneurship Osijek and the Assembly and research team of CEPOR (SMEs and Entrepreneurship Policy Center), as well as the GEM research team for Croatia since 2002.
