Matija Kuzmić has been employed as an associate assistant at the Department of Finance and Accounting at the Faculty of Economics in Osijek since November 2024. He completed the undergraduate study of Medical Laboratory Diagnostics at the Faculty of Medicine in Osijek as well as the undergraduate and graduate study of Financial Management at the Faculty of Economics in Osijek. Throughout his education, he participated in various education and summer schools in the field of finance and econometrics. As a significant success during his higher education, he cites the high result achieved at the CFA Research Challenge, in which he and his team placed as winners at the national and sub-regional levels. With this success, they placed themselves among the best financial analysts of the generation in the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East and Africa). His research interests are finance, financial markets and financial modeling. Among his skills, he emphasizes the advanced use of Excel, work in the Stata program, and the use of R and Python tools for data analysis and processing. He also emphasizes the use of English and German in speech and writing.
