Ivan Kelić has been employed at the Faculty of Economics in Osijek at the Department of Marketing since 2011. Since 2023, he has been working as an associate professor at the Department of Marketing at the Faculty of Economics in Osijek. Since October 2021, he has served as Vice-Dean for Teaching and Students at the Faculty of Economics in Osijek. The focus of his scientific direction and research is the utilization and potential of modern technologies in business. He is the head of the lifelong learning program "Tourism Economy Manager", as well as the program for taking the professional exam for tourist guides, which is implemented at the Faculty of Economics based on the decision of the Ministry of Tourism, where he actively participates in the organization and implementation of the program. Since 2010, he has been a member of the Croatian Marketing Association (CROMAR) and from 2017 to 2021, he has served as the secretary general of the association. As a leader or member of a working group, he participated in the development of various strategies, studies and projects for various institutions, organizations and business entities, and by connecting theory and practice, he participates as an advisor to business entities and organizations in the field of marketing. He participates in teaching several subjects at different levels of study within his home institution and as an external associate participated in teaching at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computing and Information Technologies in Osijek and the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb. He is actively involved in the organization of numerous education programs in the field of marketing under the name E-marketing and Social Media Academy in cooperation with renowned business entities from the region.
