After a long and warm summer, the Faculty of Philosophy in Osijek's project for the popularization of science Philosophically in the Community – and I (FUZ&JA) It's back in full swing!
This fall and winter, various activities such as lectures, workshops, book presentations, and musical-philosophical conversations will pleasantly pass the days. As before, the activities are organized by the FFOS Alumni Association, the Center for Interdisciplinary Research, the Aesthetic Laboratory, Open Thursday, and certain chairs and departments of the Faculty of Philosophy in Osijek (in this cycle, it is the Department of History).
For the fourth consecutive year, as part of FUZ&JA, they have been striving to present numerous scientific topics to the wider community in a simple way, and their goal is, above all, to critically reflect on scientific research and socially important issues, whether local or national.
In the winter semester of the 2024/2025 academic year, we have 16 public events planned where we will discuss the Inter-Slavic language, sports journalism, political columns, all types of art – literature, film, comics, and (punk-rock) music – as well as the collaboration between school support services and parents, parenting in the age of sharenting, and perfectionism in Disney animated films.
All information about upcoming events will be available in a timely manner on the Faculty's websites and on the organizers' social media channels. Some events will also be streamed on the individual organizers' YouTube channels.
