for selection
All candidates for the competition must meet the general conditions prescribed by the Labor Act ("Official Gazette" No. 93/14, 127/17, 98/19, 51/22 and 64/23).
In addition to the criteria prescribed in Article 39, paragraphs 4 and 6 of the Higher Education and Scientific Activity Act (Official Gazette, No. 119/22), candidates are required to meet the conditions prescribed in Article 123, paragraphs 3 and 4 of the Statute of the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, Article 45, paragraphs 3 and 4 of the Statute of the Faculty of Economics and Business within the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, and Article 26 of the Regulations on the implementation of the election/re-election procedure for scientific-teaching, artistic-teaching, teaching, associate and professional positions at the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek (hereinafter: the University Regulations).
Candidates are required to submit documentation according to Form No. 4 – Application for the vacancy for the position of associate assistant, which was published on the website of the Faculty of Economics in Osijek www.efos.unios.hr, or when applying for the competition, they are required to submit: a completed form No. 4 – Application for the competition for the selection for the associate position of assistant, a CV, an original or a certified copy of the diploma of a completed university graduate study or university integrated undergraduate and graduate study in the scientific field of Social Sciences, the scientific field of Economics, a transcript of grades or a supplementary document on the study for the completed undergraduate and graduate study, a certificate of student success during the study issued by an authorized body of the higher education institution and a signed consent form for the collection and processing of personal data for the purpose of implementing the competition.
The Law on Higher Education and Scientific Activity, the Statute of the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University in Osijek, the Statute of the Faculty of Economics within the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University in Osijek and the Regulations on the implementation of the election/re-election procedure for scientific-teaching, artistic-teaching, teaching, associate and professional positions at the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University in Osijek have been published on the website of the Faculty of Economics in Osijek. https://www.efos.unios.hr/o-fakultetu/transparentost.
For candidates who are foreign citizens, it is necessary to submit proof of knowledge of the Croatian language in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (C2).
Candidates who hold a foreign higher education qualification must submit proof of the completed procedure for recognition of the foreign higher education qualification.
Persons of both sexes may apply for the competition under equal conditions. Only a person who meets the formal requirements of the competition and who has submitted a timely and complete application for the competition will be considered a candidate for the competition. A complete application is an application that contains all the information and attachments specified in the competition and is signed by hand. Late and incomplete applications will not be considered.
Kandidati natječaja koji ispunjavaju formalne uvjete natječaja i koji su uz prijavu na natječaj priložili obvezujuću dokumentaciju, moraju pristupiti pisanom testiranju i/ili razgovoru/intervjuu koje obuhvaća provjeru motivacije i dodatnu provjeru znanja pred stručnim povjerenstvom, a o mjestu održavanja pisanog testiranja i/ili razgovora/intervjua bit će obaviješteni putem elektroničke pošte Ekonomskog fakulteta u Osijeku najkasnije pet (5) dana prije održavanja intervjua/razgovora. Za kandidate koji ne pristupe pisanom testiranju i/ili razgovoru/intervjuu pred stručnim povjerenstvom smatrat će se da su povukli prijavu na natječaj i neće se smatrati kandidatima natječaja.
Candidates who, based on special regulations – the Act on Croatian Homeland War Veterans and Members of Their Families („Official Gazette“ no. 121/17, 98/19 and 84/21), Article 48 of the Act on Civilian Victims of Homeland War („Official Gazette“ no. 84/21) and Article 48.f. of the Act on the Protection of Military and Civilian War Invalids (Official Gazette No. 33/92, 57/92, 77/92, 27/93, 58/93, 2/94, 76/94, 108/95, 108/96, 82/01, 103/03, 148/13 and 98/19), Article 9 of the Act on Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities (Official Gazette No. 157/13, 152/14, 39/18 and 32/20) call for the right to priority in employment, they are obliged to refer to this right in their application for the competition and to attach all evidence prescribed by special regulations for the exercise of this right. The aforementioned candidates have priority in employment compared to other applicants, only under equal conditions. For candidates who, in their application, invoke the right to priority in employment under the Act on Croatian Veterans of Homeland War and Members of Their Families ("Official Gazette" no. 121/17, 98/19 and 84/21) and the Act on Civilian Victims of the Homeland War ("Official Gazette" no. 84/21), the list of evidence required to exercise this right is available at the link of the Ministry of Croatian Veterans: https://branitelji.gov.hr/zaposljavanje-843/843. Candidates who invoke the right to priority in employment pursuant to Article 9 of the Act on Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities ("Official Gazette" No. 157/13, 152/14, 39/18 and 32/20) are required to invoke this right in their application for the competition and submit all evidence of meeting the required conditions, as well as proof of disability.
All candidates will be notified of the results of the competition no later than (15) days from the date of its completion. The Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, Faculty of Economics in Osijek reserves the right to notify all registered candidates via e-mail.
By applying for the competition, each candidate gives consent to all their personal data contained in the competition documentation being collected and processed for the purpose of implementing the competition in accordance with the regulations governing the protection of personal data, in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation). Consent form was published with the competition on the website of the Faculty of Economics in Osijek Osijek www.efos.unios.hr. Without a duly completed and signed Consent form with the competition application, the application will be considered incomplete and will be rejected. Applications with evidence of meeting the competition requirements and a completed and signed Consent Form for the collection and processing of personal data for the purpose of implementing the competition are submitted in electronic form to the address: office@efos.hr within thirty (30) days from the date of publication of the competition in the "Official Gazette" with the indication: "Application for the competition - assistant."„
