Activities within the project “Experience is worth its weight in gold.” Awareness is growing in the business and broader community, and the issue of employment for those who have a harder time finding a job for personal reasons and other circumstances is being addressed.
By launching the Experience Gold project in 2013, Poslovni dnevnik had a clear goal of raising awareness in the business community about the importance of including people with disabilities, especially young people, in the labor market. No one at the time suspected that it would more than a decade later the project will be just as important, indeed, more necessary than ever, and that over the years people will get involved in it. more than 190 students and over 50 companies and institutions, highly sensitized to the topic of employment of vulnerable groups.
The main goal of the project is to raise awareness within the business community and society as a whole about the challenges of employment and equal social inclusion in the daily lives of young people with disabilities. In this way, it aims to make it easier for individuals starting from unequal positions to enter and participate equally in the labor market. The participation of government institutions and a significant number of partner companies demonstrates the strength and importance of the project itself.
The right to work is one of the fundamental human rights. Therefore, the primary goal of the Business Journal is to connect the activities of institutions and the public and private sectors with students, so that together we can break down the stereotypes and prejudices that exist in our society, Unfortunately, still prevalent in our society, has been transformed into a powerful socially responsible project whose message we have been successfully and loudly spreading for 12 years, and with the very concrete result of providing internships for more than 190 students, 12 of whom were also offered permanent employment at the same company.
This year, Business Daily once again wants to help everyone who hasn't been given an equal start in life to more easily enter the job market and one day participate equally in the marketplace.
